Corporate Moving

At First Class Van Lines, we understand that commercial moves require effective organizational skills and expert handling skills when dealing with technical equipment. Our experienced moving specialists are trained in planning, management, and packing to guarantee that employees from any corporation can efficiently and quickly move to their destination hassle-free.  All commercial moves are supervised by a project manager that ensure minimum downtime, suggest whether or not third-party assistance is needed, and create a custom timeline that fits your moving needs.

Tasks completed by moving specialists:

  • Use modern equipment to handle heavy furniture/packages
  • Disassemble  and reassemble work stations and equipment
  • Pad wrap/bubble wrap all furniture to ensure a safe transit
  • Professional packing, unpacking, and labeling (when requested)
  • Expert handling of all office electronics/ machinery
  • Perform in a quick but cautious matter for a fast and stress-free move

First Class Van Lines also provides packaging material that can be purchased online or in person. Our project managers assist customers in choosing the appropriate and beneficial supplies that will protect all belongings and help save time and essentially, money.

The hourly rate includes a professional moving crew of two to three movers and an 18-26 foot van that encompasses all furniture blankets, dollies, and any special equipment needed to assist you with your move. The billing time begins when our moving crew arrives at your pickup destination and ends after the truck is empty and all furniture is reassembled. Each move is charged a minimum of two hours of labor and is charged half-hourly after the minimum is reached.

Travel time (flat rate fee), the amount of time it takes for our movers to reach your office and back is added to the total charge on completion of the move. Driving time, the time it takes for the movers to drive from your current residence to your new office, is not included in the travel time.

Valuation of Coverage

All commercial relocations assigned to First Class Van Lines are covered by free limited liability coverage. First Class Van Lines is only responsible for $0.60 per pound per article up to the maximum valuation option selected by a sales representative and the customer. We highly recommend that all customers purchase from a third party the Full Value Protection Insurance for the complete coverage of your belongings and electronics. Valuation of coverage is not insurance for your possessions.
Remember, being prepared ahead of time can reduce the total time of the move and will help you save money!
